Chapter two
Disobeying the rules

The next morning, before I went downstairs, I made sure that I kept the so called 'grin' off of my face. When I went downstairs I saw something that I never thought I'd ever see in my life. It was a pair of keys with a note on top. I use my magic to see what it said. It said: Dear Aphrodite, your dad and I had to leave early today. We almost forgot but last night we bought you a car. These are you keys. DON'T LOSE THEM!!!! from, mom. I looked at the keys with wide eyes. Then in a flash I have the car keys and am running out of the door to see my new car.
When I got outside I saw the car of my dreams. I saw blood red convertible with blue flames on the side. "No way." I unlocked the car and climbed in. When I put the key in I realized that it didn't match the car one little bit. "Make this key blood read with small specks of blue flame." I said. When I finished I pointed at the key and it turned blood read with small specks of blue flame. "I can't wait to show my friends."

When I got to school everyone was staring at the car. When I climbed out of the car everyone gasped. "When did the new girl get a car like that and why is she smiling like its the best car in the world?" I heard people whisper, with my sonic hearing. When no one was finally looking at me I closed my eyes and saw that no one was even NEAR my locker. So I thought of my locker, blinked, and suddenly I was at my locker. "22-32-12" I whispered. Magic is the best. It helps with so many things. I thought. Today will be way better than yesterday. I looked at my backpack and used my X-ray vision to look at my schedule. Band. In a blink of an eye she was in front of the band room. (Literally a blink of an eye). I walked in and went to where the put the instruments. "Clarinet." I said quietly. In a second my clarinet was flying to me. I grabbed it.
When class started I used magic so I had enough air to play. When I bell rang I went to my next class. Math went good. History was the best, considering the fact that I used magic on everyone in that class. When I walked in class for English I knew immediately that without magic English would be SOOO boring. So she made English fun by making cupcakes appear behind the teacher and told him, in his mind, to pass them out to everyone in the class. So, we ate cupcakes and pretended to pay attention, but used magic to keep what he said in my mind.

After school I got in my car and came home to my parents waiting for me. "Do you like the car Aphrodite?" The both said at the same time. "OF COURSE!!!!!! A blood red convertible with blue flames in my dream car!!!!!!!"
