chapter one
New school
Hi my name's Aphrodite Fire Money, I'm a High school first year. Unfortunately I was expelled from my old school, so now I'm going to Springville High, in the middle of the year.
" Aphrodite wake up! I won't let you be late on your first day at a new school." That's my mom, she can be very strict sometimes. " Don't make me come up there young lady." " Fine, I'm getting up!"
When I was done getting ready for school I went down and had a bowl of Cinnamon Flakes. When I was finished I said, " I'm ready lets get going."

My locker was the hardest thing to find of all when we finally got there. The last locker I looked at was mine. So I did my locker combo. " 25-32-12" I whispered without touching the locker. I reached up and opened my locker, got my math book and went to class.
"Good morning class," said my teacher, Mrs. Chase. " We have a new student today, this is Aphrodite Fire Money." " Hi," I said while trying to think if I could use magic to Make class little fun, by using magic of course.
For the next hour we learned about advanced, and by advanced I mean WAY advanced, division. After I finished the test she gave us I looked around the room and saw that everyone else was struggling with the first question still. So I opened my math book and started reading the most advanced part that was in the book.
The rest of school went the same: I get introduced, they give us a test, I'm the first one to finish, and I read the most advanced part in the book for that class.

After school I was surrounded by My classmates. " Was that test even hard for you? How long have you been in this school? Are you a new student to the school or just to the class?" are the questions that they asked me. " SHUT UP AND I'LL ANSWER YOU!!!!" Was my reply. They all went Silent.
" No, the test was WAY easy for me. This is my first day here. I'm a new student to the school not just the class. Do you have anymore questions? 'Cause if you do at least raise you hand and I'll call on you." A ton of hands shot up into the air.
" The one in the Blue shirt and neon orange jeans." " What did you do at your old school?" " Wait why did every single hand go down?" " That was are question, too." " OK well, one time I beat up a group of nine or ten jocks. Oh and there's the time when I won the wrestling championship, and this championship was the one for all the schools. Then one time I found a love note in my locker, so I went all around the school threatening people until I found the one who put it in my locker and he told my who wrote the note."
" What did you do to the guy who wrote the love note?" " I pulverized him of course. Yes I know I'm mean but I don't really care what happens to other people." " How do you do your locker combo so fast?" uh, oh. The one question I didn't need. I can't tell them I used my magic or who knows what will happen. I've got to think fast, really fast. " Lots of practice."
" What were the test like at your old school?" " Well to start out I'll tell you this I was in the most advanced classes in the school like I am here. The tests were just a tad pit harder than here, but for you guys I bet I would be about ten or twenty times harder." Everyone's eyes got so wide it looked like they'd pop out of there head any second.
I walk home from school and because of that I had to answer more questions on the way home. So I could get rid of them I walked onto a random porch and said, " My mom doesn't allow people to come inside or even be in hearing distance when I enter the house, sorry." They all turned and starting walking home to there own houses.
When I couldn't see them anymore a sprinted of the porch and ran home.

" How was your first day of school," asked my mom at the dinner table. " It wasn't the best." I said except it was only partly true. I loved the feeling of being the smartest person in the school, and maybe the strongest.
" I'm sorry to here that Aphrodite, and eat your steak its getting cold. Whats that grin for? Wait, I know that grin. What are you going to do tomorrow?" I hadn't even realized I was the grin, as mom calls it.
" What ever your going to do remember magic is forbidden at school!"
